Notice anything different?

Notice anything different about Annie in this picture? I'll give you a hint...Look at her ears!!! She has been asking to get her ears pierced for about a year now. She made the "A" Honor Roll this whole school year, and her "A" in reading was not just any "A". It was hard earned!!! She has worked hours every night with hardly any complaining at all. I decided that this would be the perfect time to let her get her ears pierced because I was not going to make her wait until she was 12 like my mother did I am so proud of her!!!

Go Sundrops!!!

Annie is playing softball this year for the first time. Her team is an ABS team and they are the Sundrops! Today was opening day. It started with a parade from Athens High School all the way to the Cowart Ballfields. All the teams were recognized out on the field and there was a balloon release. We didn't win our first game, but the girls did great and we were all really proud of them. We were definately the cutest team out there in our lime green and pink!

More to come...

I am going to try to do better with my blogging. No, this is not an April Fool's joke!!! We just really haven't had that much going on. Opening day of softball starts this weekend with a parade and Easter is coming up, so I should have new pictures to be posting soon. Stay tuned...

Pray for Stellan

I added a "Pray for Stellan" button to the side of my blog. If you click on it, you can read about this sweet baby and his amazing mom who need all the prayers they can get. I don't personally know them, but I've been reading MckMama's blog for so long that I feel like I do. Stellan was diagnosed with a heart condition before he was born but was born perfectly healthy. The heart condition has come back and the doctors are having a hard time treating him. Reading about things like this make me realize how truly blessed I am and that when my three are bouncing off the walls and I am ready to pull my hair out, I should be down on my knees thanking God that they are healthy enough to do that!
